Jürgen Klopp stated on Friday that it is too soon to determine the full degree of Mohamed Salah’s injury, but the sight of the Liverpool star hobbling off the field with what his club manager described as a hamstring injury raised concerns among the Mersey side players and Egypt’s 2-2 tie with Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations on Thursday .Reporters were informed on Friday by Klopp that “we don’t know anything about it.”

“We talked last night, and that’s how it went. We will learn more later on when they continue their examinations.

He was startled at the time and didn’t understand why he had been struck by anything so powerful. These hamstring strains are not the same as yours. He sensed it, and we are aware of how infrequently Mo needs to or wanders off, so it is undoubtedly something, but at this time I am at a loss for details.

In more than six seasons, the 31-year-old has missed just 10 league games due to injury.

Klopp expressed his uncertainty over whether Liverpool’s medical team would go to the Ivory Coast to evaluate Salah’s level of damage.

“We’ll see. The diagnosis will determine this, he stated.

“It’s too early (yet), but we will have an MRI and ultrasound to find out what it is, after which we can make plans.”

After 20 games, Liverpool leads the Premier League with 45 points, two points ahead of Manchester City. Liverpool will visit Bournemouth on Sunday.Despite having played one extra game than the two teams above them, Aston Villa has 43 points as well.
