At the end of the current campaign, Liverpool may get a great deal on Bryan Mbeumo, an attacker for Brentford.

The 24-year-old has made a name for himself as a dependable attacker in the Premier League, helping Brentford to 15 league games this season with seven goals and four assists.

Mbeumo is a natural right-sided winger, but he can also play on the left. If he relocated to An-field, he would provide the Liverpool attack goals, ingenuity, and lightning-fast pace.

His abilities are definitely needed by the Reds, particularly if they lose Mohamed Salah in the summer. The relocation to Saudi Arabia has been associated with the Egyptian. Salah’s contract expires in2025, therefore if a significant offer is made, Liverpool may choose to cash in on the player.

They will need to find a suitable replacement for the 31-year-old, and Mbeumo is starting to show up. According to The Express, Liverpool might try to get the Brentford star and, should the Bees lose, might be able to get him for a low cost.

Transfer market presently values Mbeumo at approximately £32 million, but Liverpool would like to drop that asking price should Brentford be relegated to the Championship this year.

Mbeumo will be persuaded to sign with Liverpool, one of the biggest teams in the nation and a regular contender for major championships. Most players will find the chance to play for them appealing, and the Brentford attacker would probably seize the opportunity to join An-field.

Though it’s unclear how things will pan out over the coming months, former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore would undoubtedly support a transfer for Mbeumo. Recently, Collymore declared that the Brentford attacker is one of his favorites, calling him “quality,” and he supported the player’s replacement for Salah at An-field.

I think Bryan Mbeumo is someone top sides should look into more closely—I adore him! Some of you might be surprised to hear this, but Mbeumo is my favorite Premier League player. I believe he is excellent. The Express quotes Collymore as saying

He is very direct, makes good runs in the channels, can drop deep, holds the ball up really well, is very supportive of his attacking partner, goes in the box and poaches goals, and he is physically powerful. These are all traits I notice in him whenever I watch him. I could write forever. What a fantastic player!

Jurgen Klopp should give Brentford’s number 19 some thought if Salah decides to leave Liverpool this summer.

Currently ranked 16th in the league standings, Brentford will be fighting to stay in the top division. They won’t be able to retain their main players if they lose in the championship.

Players like Mbeumo won’t want to play in the English football second tier the next season. Liverpool, meanwhile, will be looking to seize the opportunity and recruit the player for a reduced fee.
