The promoter of Alexander Usyk, Alex Krassyuk‎, has disclosed that they are offering prayers for Tyson Fury’s well-being in light of the postponement of the highly anticipated fight. Furthermore, Krassyuk has promised that on May 18 in Saudi Arabia, the undefeated Ukrainian would prove he is the best heavyweight in the world. This weekend, Usyk and Fury were scheduled to battle for all four titles in an attempt to become the first heavyweight champion to go undefeated since Lennox Lewis in 1999.

However, during the sparring, the “Gypsy King” received a horrific cut, which caused the boxing extravaganza to be postponed by three months. TalkSPORT was informed by Krassyuk, who recently criticized the Manchester native for his obscene reaction to David Haye in 2013, that Team Usyk is hoping Fury heals from his painful cut.Furthermore, Krassyuk asserted that Usyk’s preparations remained unaffected by the postponement, as the champion of the WBA, WBO, and IBF resumed his sparring session subsequent to learning of Fury’s eye injury.Usyk, the two-weight world champion, has triumphed in each of his 21 professional bouts.

Prior to continuing, he stated: “Unfortunately, he isn’t competing this Saturday, and we all know why. However, he is a highly skilled professional. He smiled as he took in this information, fully understanding what was happening. He is prepared for the obstacles in his life, so this will be just another test for him. Thus, not much changed.”The date is the only thing that has changed; everything else is the same.”Usyk recently sent WBC champion Fury a terrifying nine-word note in which he vowed to never let him alone.

Following the postponement, the two sides have been at odds with one another, with Egis Klimas, Usyk’s manager, calling Fury a “f****** coward. “The British celebrity responded with rage and an X-rated outburst, challenging Klimas to a video call.
